¿No sabe cuál elegir?

Residential systems qualify up to 25 kW. Customers whose Schedule 136 volumetric incentive contract has expired go to Schedule 138 instead, not this schedule.

$18.06 a month for a house, once the two low-income charges are added
Cómo se calcula
Schedule 4 sets a Basic Charge of $14.00 a month for a single-family home and $8.00 for a multi-family home, and Pacific Power’s own price summary warns that the figure is not the whole fixed charge. Its footnote says the summary “does not include the effect of Low-Income Assistance Schedule 91 or Low Income Discount Cost Recovery Adjustment Schedule 92; for Schedule 4 customers add $1.42 plus $2.64 per meter per month”. So a house pays $18.06 before a kilowatt hour moves, and a flat in a multi-family building $12.06. A 1.5 percent Public Purpose Charge is then applied to the bill, the basic charge included. Energy above it is a combined 14.499 cents a kilowatt hour whether you use under or over 2,000, with a BPA Columbia River Benefits credit of 1.331 cents on the first 2,000 for eligible residential customers. The optional time-of-use adder is steep: 28.769 cents for an on-peak kilowatt hour against 10.709 cents off-peak, which rewards a household that uses its own solar output during the day and shifts load away from the evening peak. The same pattern appears at Pacific Power in Washington, where the low-income surcharge is a separate $3.79: in both states the number on the rate schedule understates the fixed part of the bill.

Under Schedule 135, a month in which you send more to the grid than you take is billed the monthly charges, and the Net Metering Energy becomes a cumulative kilowatt hour credit “applied at the full retail rate for each rate component on the bill that uses kilowatt-hours as the billing determinant” on the next bill. On a time-of-use rate, credits offset usage in the same period first. Kilowatt hour credits accumulate from month to month through the March billing period.
Full retail per kWh, cleared each March to low-income aid. Unused credit accumulated through the March billing period each year is transferred to Pacific Power’s low-income assistance program at its average annual avoided cost rate.
