1. What this service is
Net Metering Program introduces Florida homeowners to licensed solar installation companies and helps prepare the inquiry before that company attends. We do not sell solar equipment, we do not perform installations, we do not finance systems, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with an installer.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not submit the form.
2. We are not your utility, and not the state
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any electric utility. We are not a government agency and this is not a state run program, despite the word “program” in our name, which refers to net metering itself. Utility names appear on this site solely so you can identify your own provider and remain the property of their owners.
3. How installers are listed, and what we are paid
Companies appear because they operate in your utility’s territory. Listings are ordered by review volume and years in business.
- Verified Partner. A signed agreement is in place and the company pays us for that placement. Partners appear at the top of their territory and carry the badge.
- Local installer. No agreement, no payment, no relationship of any kind. Listed because the company operates in that area.
We may also be paid a referral fee when an introduction results in work. Paid placement is disclosed on every page where it appears.
We do not vet workmanship. We do not verify the insurance, financial standing, or quality of work of the companies listed, and a listing is not a recommendation that you use that company. Check any Florida contractor at the state license register before you sign anything.
4. What happens when you submit the form
We contact you to confirm your details and work through your bill, then arrange the consultation with the company you selected. We cannot guarantee that any company will accept the work, attend within a particular time, quote a particular price, or reach any particular outcome.
5. About the information on this site
Net metering terms for the four investor owned utilities reflect Florida PSC Rule 25-6.065 as of the date shown on each utility page. Municipal utilities and rural cooperatives are not bound by that rule, set their own terms, and can change them by board vote without public rulemaking. Where we publish their terms we cite the source and the date we checked it. Where we have not verified them, we say so and publish no rate at all.
The 30% federal solar credit ended for systems completed after 31 December 2025. We state this because it materially changes the economics and because out of date material claiming otherwise is still circulating.
Nothing on this site is a quote, a guarantee of savings, tax advice, or legal advice. Your actual result depends on your roof, your usage, your utility’s current tariff and your own tax position. Verify every figure with your installer and your tax preparer before you commit to anything.
6. Your responsibilities

- Only submit a telephone number you are entitled to give consent for
- Do not submit on behalf of someone else without their permission
- Do not scrape, overload, or interfere with the operation of the site
7. Intellectual property
The design, text and data compilations on this site belong to us. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not republish our utility rate research or installer listings commercially without permission.
8. Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law we are not liable for the conduct, workmanship, pricing, timeliness or representations of any installer, nor for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Florida have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
