- Every SRP residential solar plan carries the same tiered Monthly Service Charge, and its minimum bill is “The Monthly Service Charge.” The charge is $14.00 for billing and customer service plus $5.03 for the meter plus a distribution facilities charge that sets the tier: $20.00 for an apartment, condominium, townhouse or patio home on service up to 225 amps, $30.00 for any other home up to 225 amps, and $40.00 for any residence with more than 225 amps (effective with the November 2025 billing cycle). A main panel upgrade above 225 amps, which some solar and battery installations need, moves a house from $30 to $40 a month. On the Time-of-Use Export plan (E-13), energy at SRP’s published prices is 20.83 cents a kilowatt hour on summer weekday afternoons from 2 to 8 p.m. and 11.19 cents otherwise, 23.38 cents on-peak in July and August, and 14.25 or 10.41 cents in winter, and every kilowatt hour sent to the grid is credited at 3.45 cents as it is exported. SRP cut prices by 0.38 cents a kilowatt hour for the May to October 2026 billing cycles, returning to the published levels from November 2026. E-13 will be eliminated with the November 2029 billing cycle and its customers moved to E-28. The demand plans (E-27 and E-15) carry the same monthly service charge plus a charge on peak kilowatts.
