Versant still bills its two former companies as separate districts, so the figure depends on which side of the old line you are on. In the Bangor Hydro District the residential delivery charge is “Fixed (includes 100 kWh): $11.54/month”; in the Maine Public District it is $11.32, also including 100 kWh. Both as of 1 July 2026. Like CMP, Versant delivers and the electricity is bought separately from the standard offer or a supplier. Versant bundles twice CMP’s allowance into its fixed charge, so the first 100 kilowatt hours of delivery are already paid before the meter turns — worth knowing before sizing an array to cover every last unit, because those 100 earn nothing back. Above the allowance delivery is dear in Bangor Hydro, 17.400 cents a kilowatt hour, and 14.785 cents in Maine Public. Those are the units a solar system displaces, and at those prices a credited kilowatt hour is worth more here than at CMP.
